Yasuko H. Robinson

Cherished leader, artist, and visionary.

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Mrs. Yasuko H. Robinson, a cherished leader, artist, and visionary.

Mrs. Robinson was the founder and first director of the Sogetsu Dallas Branch, appointed by the esteemed Sofu Teshigahara, founder of the Sogetsu School. Her contributions to the world of Ikebana extended far beyond artistic arrangements—she embodied the essence of Ikebana, bringing harmony, peace, and human connection to every endeavor.

Her sincere love for Ikebana, her dedication to fostering understanding through art, and her respect for the bonds we share as individuals have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

We honor her legacy and celebrate a life that enriched so many. May her memory inspire us to approach our own art and lives with the same elegance and grace that she so beautifully exemplified.

Mrs. Robinson’s legacy will forever bloom in the hearts of those she touched.

May she rest in eternal peace.
